Ready-made pieces

Changed your mind? You can return a ready-made piece within 7 days of delivery for a refund or an exchange.

It must be unworn, unaltered and in its original Mara box and pouch, with any certificate or tag that came with it.

Made-to-order, personalised and resized pieces

Pieces marked "Made to order", and anything engraved, resized or made to your measurements, are made for you alone, so they cannot be returned for a change of mind.

They are still covered if they arrive damaged or faulty, and by our workmanship guarantee.

Earrings

For hygiene, pierced earrings can only be returned if they are still sealed in their original packaging, or if they are faulty.

Damaged, faulty or wrong piece

Check your parcel when it arrives. If anything is damaged or not what you ordered, tell us within 48 hours with a photo and we will repair, replace or refund it at no cost to you, including delivery both ways.

Workmanship guarantee

If a clasp, setting, joint or link fails from normal wear within 6 months, we will repair it free in our Malindi workshop.

The guarantee does not cover wear and tear, lost stones from knocks, chemical damage (perfume, chlorine, cleaning products), or pieces altered or repaired by someone else.

How to return a piece

1. Message us on WhatsApp with your order number (it starts with MRA) and a photo of the piece.

2. We confirm the return and tell you how to send it, by our delivery rider or by courier to our Malindi workshop.

3. We inspect the piece within 3 working days of receiving it and confirm your refund or exchange.

Refunds

Refunds go back to the way you paid (M-Pesa or card, through Pesapal) within 7 working days of approval. Card refunds can take a few more days to show, depending on your bank.

For change-of-mind returns, the original delivery fee is not refunded and you cover the cost of sending the piece back. Exchanges for a different size or finish are charged at the price difference, if any.
